agoria kicks off the summer season with might and dexterity with the release of two brand new tracks. a few weeks from the opening of the soccer world cup, sebastien devaud has made a promise: instead of relaxing on sunny terraces, watching the events unfold on wide outdoor screens, he is going to spend the whole of summer locked up in his home studio –, “,the circle room”, in lyon –, to record his next lp, which will come out next fall. however, this should in no way prevent the sun from shining on dancefloors, thanks to the release, this coming june, of infinées 25th ep.

alain ho aka dj yellow is one of the electronic music artists who established himself as one of the forward thinking artists in general. in the eighties dj yellow pushed forward french hip hop and he also had big influence on what french house music is today. with his label yellow productions (founded 1993 with his mate bob sinclar) he released artists like salome de bahia, dimitri from paris, joe clausell, bang bang and kid loco. with his second imprint poussez music (founded in 2003) he created an outlet for his own sounds.

some sublime athmospheric techno tracks that go somewhere between dubstep, detroit techno and broken beat / garage. roof light did an excellent job on this 4 track ep with tracks that are light but full of emotion and athmosphere. radiance is for sure one of the high lights with its minimal funky bass line and cut up beats and massive strings layered on top. around here is the main track with its 90s two step rhythm and its deep athmospheric sounds and vocals. ltj bukem goes dubstep? not sure who is the producer... but if its a debut its pretty impressive. great release! must have for all the martyn and 2562 fans!

beeing together in the studio for a while - here s the results: take me to mabayi features a nine minute ecstating ride - accentuated by a pulsating, hypnotic, rhythmic and gradually building melody and compelling breakdown. 100% sure with ricardo villalobos, loco dice, mathias kaden. la trutruka - golden version combine emotive slackin house beats with synthesizer washes and constant, rolling rhythmic underlay, straight and right down to the last detail with the la trutruka riff - for those who knows and some vocal samples. these are three small dissertations that connect rhythm based house-paced hills with modern dance music and experiments with synthetic song structures
